Index ~ Stories on LJ

Harry Potter Fandom

Well, at some point I should probably add a few notes, like how long it is, what I liked about it, is it complete, etc.

*added* *I need to go through and tidy all these up, but here's the raw stuff in the meantime.*

My number one, must-read rec is shoebox_project. In case you haven't read it, I'll link you to the PDF archive, which is much more reliable, and easier to find the beginning. SBP isn't done but it is far and away my favorite story (more than the books themselves).

The Price of Magic is still in progress, I think, but there's enough there to like already. I guess I tend to like the long stuff. After the after the war.

For fluffy, cracktastic but still good (dare I say in character? I'd better not.) Snape/Draco, try The Forsaken Ones. Sexually explicit. Not that the others aren't, but it's this one's defining characteristic.

Mobius ~ "He was Severus Snape, Potions Master, former spy and murderer, and a forbidden hero. These things he knew, but could not remember." Post-war, bittersweet.

I would definitely recommend The Fourth Year here, but I can't find a link. [Edit: Found the link! Snape/Harry, post-post-HBP. Loved it.]

Stealing Harry was good, but I wouldn't recommend the continuations of the story (Laocoon's Children), though your mileage may vary.

Finally, I give you a long list of someone else's recs. Ooh, seeing that list makes me remember Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, which I quite liked. Post war, Ron and Draco, but the focus is on the mystery-adventure-spy plot.
